Autumn Air, Lights And Music Enhance Shanghai’s Night Economy

During the beginning of autumn, the light coolness of the evening air is perfect for night walking and some fun. You can easily find the beauty of Shanghai at night in this season. Let’s check out the latest night scenes!



The Yuyuan Tourist Mart night economic activities have officially launched. Each night, at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00, a light show is staged in the central square of Yuyuan Tourist Mart. The antique buildings around the square will also become one of best scenes in the show. The Jiuqu Bridge Waterscape Boat Show is staged at 19:15, 20:15, and 21:15 every night as well, and in addition to these performances, there will be musical performances of violin, flute and saxophone.



Guangfulin Relics Park in Songjiang District will also be opening at night for the first time for the upcoming National Day holiday with a lantern and light feast for the eyes. The park will be illuminated by 40 groups of lanterns covering nearly 100,000 square meters while traditional Chinese folk music will also be played.



These night operations will run through until February 9th, from 5:30pm to 10pm every day.



Guyi Garden in Jiading District has recently started night operations as well. City authorities are promoting the development of the night economy, and recently released a list of more than 100 cultural venues and tourist attractions that will open at night by the culture and tourism administration.



The night economy is an important part of the urban economy, and its prosperity an important sign of the openness and vitality of a city’s economy.
