China Gearing Up For World Skills Competition

Today, the Chinese Delegation of the 45th World Skills Competition (including the Chinese Delegation of the 2019 Kazan Future Skills Competition) has been formally established.



This time, the Chinese Delegation will send 63 competitors to take part in the 56 competitions. This is the fifth time since China joined the World Skills Organization in October 2010, and is also the largest number of entries as well as the largest number of participants since China participated in the competition.



In this year’s World Skills Competition, ten competitors are from Shanghai, who will participate in nine projects including automobile repair, freight forwarding, print media technology, website design and development, floral, health and social care, catering services, network security, and hotel reception.



The delegation consists mainly of competitors, Chinese technical guidance expert group leaders, translators, staff and participants in the 2019 Kazan Future Skills Competition, with a total of 281 people. At the same time, in order to provide proper support for the competition, the Chinese Technical Support Team for the 45th World Skills Competition has also been established, which consists mainly of coaches, experts and group leaders of each participating project, with a total of 77 people.



It is reported that the 45th World Skills Competition will be held in Kazan, Russia from August 22nd to 27th, 2019. At that time, 1355 competitors from 69 countries (regions) will participate in this event.
