Making their first public debut today were 7 panda cubs. The cubs were bred and born in the Giant Panda Research Base in Chengdu Province. The cubs, male and female, were all healthy, and so far, are all doing fine. One of the cubs was recorded as being the lightest ever born on record, but despite that, is thriving with its six siblings. On the flip side, two of the cubs when born, were the heaviest cubs born on record. Visitor numbers at the research base during the National holiday will be limited to 60,000 per day, and tickets can be purchased online.
