Flea Market To Raise Money For Sick Children

A flea market will be held this Saturday morning in Yangpu District to raise money for sick children in need.

The money raised will go to Shanghai Baby’s Home, a charity organization founded in 2008 by mothers to provide care and support for orphans and abandoned special needs children in Shanghai and surrounding provinces.

The organization, which is also one of the hosts of the flea market, said it has helped about 1,400 such children over the years.

The flea market will be held from 9:30am to 12pm on Saturday at No.1 Fengcheng Road, at one of the Intelligent Baby child education centers.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children and sell second-hand toys, home-made desserts and other handcrafted objects together.

Children will also have an opportunity to create things such as T-shirts and paper flowers to sell.

Interested parents can call 61073830 before the event to sign up and hold a stand.
