Getting Your Skate On Around Town

You might not be the next Olympic figure skating hopeful, but this season everyone can go enjoy the crisp air as they take a few laps around the ice rink. Here are some of the best spots to do it around town.

 

 

Disney Ice Rink

 

 


Shanghai Disney Resort has opened the “Mickey’s Icy Holiday”, an outdoor skating rink last December. It’s in the middle of Disney Town, near the Wishing Star Lake. You can play with Mickey and Minnie here!

Pearl Tower Ice Rink

 

 

 

 

It’s the largest ice carnival in the city, occupying an area of 600 square meters, with capacity of hundreds of skaters all together. Located at the foot of one of Shanghai’s most famous landmarks, the Oriental Pearl Tower, you can enjoy the best of the city’s iconic view.

Sky Skating in Joy City

 

 

 

 

The most fantastic thing about this skating rink is… it’s pink! 30 pink Christmas trees surround the skating rink. Every night from 17:00 to 21:30, a magic dolphin will be projected on the ground.

Aegean Palace Ice Rink

 

 

 

 

It’s the first indoor ice-themed park. With an average thickness of 30cm, and perennial -10 degrees, you feel as if you’re in the north.

It’s a famous indoor complex entrainment park. After its success in Thailand, Vietnam and Japan, it finally comes to China. With its unique black technology, you can play inside without wearing thick clothes.
