In these country pavilions at the CIIE, lots of highlights await us to explore.
Uruguay has brought more than 20 entrepreneurs to the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and set up booths to promote the “Pearl of South America” and boost exports. Visitors can enjoy Uruguayan wine and watch a modern take on the country’s traditional music, with jazz and electronic music and robot dancers.
Other Latin American countries have brought their indigenous products. El Salvador is presenting their special coffee to visitors, while the Dominican Republic and Cuba are showcasing their world-renowned cigars, and Peru has brought their social media sensation, the llama.
In the China Pavilion, you will see a model of the Fuxing train with a top speed of 350 kilometers-per-hour, and you may also go for a spin on the high-speed railway simulator.
Through the CIIE, countries from all over the world further deepen cooperation on commerce and trade.
