Hongkou District in northern Shanghai has a lot to offer. It is much more than just beautiful architecture. It serves as a cultural bridge between Chinese and Jewish culture. Shanghai opened its arms to Jewish refugees during World War II, and this was where they were given housing.
The district recently held a series of cultural activities celebrating the link between the two cultures. Part of this involved releasing two maps detailing the amazing sights to be seen throughout the district. Take a look at the wonders you can find!
