Sometimes when a woman becomes a mother, her identity as a person may be eclipsed by her new motherhood. With a rising focus on female independence, now things are changing for the people that hold up half the sky.
Now mothers have their own community to meet and discuss the issues they face. Talking about depression can be difficult enough, but postpartum depression is particularly hard because you are supposed to be overjoyed by the new life you have brought into the world, but now you have a wildly different hormone balance. Now these mothers have a group that understands what they are going through and thinks of better ways to overcome obstacles and become a good person.
We hope that all mothers can embrace and excel in their new role, but above all place the proper importance on themselves.
