Twenty-one winning photos were selected from about 4,000 submitted in the competition “EYE OF SH — Looking for the Most Beautiful Huangpu River Landscape,” local authorities announced on Thursday.
They show skyscrapers, Shanghai’s brilliant night views, alleyways and natural scenery. Some used drones.
“I am enchanted by the magnificence and beauty of Shanghai, and the waterfront of the Huangpu River is my favorite place,” said Wang Zhengkun, winner of the top prize.
An exhibition of the winners at the White Magnolia Plaza at the North Bund will run through July 20.
An album of the photos was also released on Thursday.
