Shanghai has released its Talent Policy Guidebook. The guidebook was published by the Shanghai Human resources Policy Coordination Group and is designed to provide guidance to highly skilled expats, locals and companies and addresses such important issues as visa procedures and cross-border medical treatments, industrial scientific research projects, financial services and more. Xu Chunxia, Vice Minister of COMAC Human resources says the guidebook covers areas such as residency and education and is intended to provide support, practical resources and explain access procedures to highly talented individuals who have very high expectations for career development and are wishing to locate in Shanghai. The guidebooks are currently only available in Chinese and will be updated as policies change.
