Terracotta Warriors Celebrate Anniversary

Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum site, also known as the “Terracotta Warriors”, was first discovered in 1974, but this year is the 40th anniversary of this famous site opening up to the public for all to enjoy.


Qin Shi Huang was China’s first emperor. His tomb lies at the northern foot of Lishan Mountain, in northwest China’s ancient capital city, Xi’an.
