The first stop of the PSA World Tour Gold Tournament, the J.P Morgan China Squash Open 2019, will be held just beside the Huangpu River on September 4th-8th. The biggest squash tournament in China, it’s traditionally played in a glass court on the 11th floor of the Peninsula Hotel under the full lights of Pudong.
48 top squash players from 16 countries and regions will compete for the prize of 224,000 US dollars over five days. This year sees women’s world No. 1 player Raneem EI Welily defending her title. For men, Ali Farag will try his best to challenge for the China Open championship.
